Makhana, also called fox nuts or phool makhana, is the popped seed of the Euryale ferox water lily. It is light, crunchy and naturally gluten free, which makes it an easy everyday snack.

Our makhana is sourced from the wetlands of Bihar, where most of India's makhana is grown.

We offer:

• Premium Raw Makhana, 200 g: 100% makhana, nothing else added.
• Flavoured roasted makhana in 75 g packs: Himalayan Salt & Pepper, Peri Peri, Peanut and Chocolate.
• Combo packs that bundle two or more flavours.

We keep the ingredient list clean. Our makhana has no artificial flavours, no artificial colours and no preservatives, and it is palm-oil free. Our flavoured makhana is roasted in olive oil, and our Peanut makhana is roasted in groundnut oil.

No. Our flavoured makhana is roasted, not fried. Premium Raw Makhana is not roasted or seasoned at all.

Premium Raw Makhana has no added sugar, oil or seasoning. For flavoured packs, please check the ingredient list on each pack.

Makhana is a natural source of plant protein. Our Premium Raw Makhana pack is labelled "Rich in protein", and our flavoured packs are labelled "Source of protein". You'll find the full nutrition table on each pack.

Makhana is naturally gluten free. Our flavoured packs contain seasonings, so if you need to avoid gluten strictly, please check the allergen declaration on the pack.

Peanut Makhana contains peanuts. For every flavour, please read the ingredient list and allergen declaration on the pack before eating.

You can eat it straight from the pack, dry-roast it with a little oil and your favourite seasoning for a crunchy snack, add it to kheer and other traditional recipes, or mix it into a homemade trail mix.

Store the pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep it sealed after opening so the makhana stays crunchy. The best-before date is printed on every pack.

You can pay using any of the methods shown at checkout. Cash on Delivery may be available for eligible orders and delivery locations, and you'll see whether it is offered for your order at checkout.

Yes, as long as it has not been dispatched. Email us at contact@munchful.in with your order ID as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, we can't guarantee a cancellation.

Email us with your order ID before your order is dispatched and we'll do our best to update it. If an incorrect address leads to a failed delivery, reshipping may cost extra, and we'll always tell you before we reship.

We deliver across India. We don't ship outside India at the moment.

Orders are usually delivered within 4 to 6 working days of being placed, depending on your location. Delays can occasionally happen during high order volumes, bad weather or other circumstances outside our control.

Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.

Once your order is dispatched, we share tracking details (where available) using the email or phone number you gave at checkout. If you haven't received them, email us with your order ID.

Yes, please. Delivery partners may not always carry change, so keeping the exact amount ready helps your order reach you smoothly.

Because our products are food, we can't accept returns for a change of mind or taste preference. This keeps every pack we send out safe and hygienic.

We're sorry. Please email us at contact@munchful.in within 48 hours of delivery with:

• your order ID,
• clear photos (or an uncut unboxing video) of the product, packaging and damage, and
• a short description of the problem.

Keep the product and packaging until we've reviewed it, and please don't eat anything that looks spoiled or unsafe. If the problem is confirmed, we'll send a replacement at no extra cost. If a replacement isn't possible, we'll offer a refund.

Email us with your order details. We'll check with our delivery partner and arrange a redelivery, or a refund where applicable.

Approved refunds are initiated within 5 working days to your original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take a few more days to show it in your account. For Cash on Delivery orders, we'll contact you to arrange the refund after verification.
